Business Brokerage Specialist (BBS) is a professional designation awarded by the Arizona Business Brokers Association (AZBBA) to members who have satisfied certain educational and experience requirements and agree to adhere to the ethical standards of the Association.

By obtaining the BBS designation, business brokers in Arizona demonstrate a commitment to their profession and a dedication to continuing education and high ethical standards.

Requirements for receiving the designation include the following:

• Must be licensed by the Arizona Department of Real Estate.
• Must be a member in good standing of the Arizona Business Brokers Association.
• Must have a minimum 3 years of direct business brokerage experience.
• Must have at least 48 credit hours of approved educational courses in the field of business Brokerage.

BBS designees must re-qualify every 2 years by submitting 12 additional credit hours of approved courses.
